A teller at Farmingdale bank faces a grand larceny charge for allegedly stealing more than $9,000 in cash, said Nassau County police.
The 23 year old teller, of Benjoe Dr., Amityville, twice took several thousand dollars from her teller's drawer where she worked at the New York Community Bank on Conklin Street, detectives from the Crimes Against Property Squad said.
The bank noticed the losses, in excess of $9,000, after routine daily audits of the tellers' cash drawers, a police spokesman said. The spokesman could not say why the woman allegedly took the money
